The fusion of traditional artistic elements with contemporary expressions creates a distinctive cultural space, contributing to the global discourse on art and identity.

In examining the contextual background of contemporary Nigerian art, it becomes evident that historical antecedents play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of artistic developments (Asogwa, 2022).
